Most patients want to know if their dental insurance will cover the cost of dental implants and we are more than happy to answer this question. From the minute that you step into our office, our specially trained staff will assist you with insurance coverage, assignment of your benefits and helping you to understand the cost for your treatment.
To ensure that your experience at The Foleck Center is comfortable and easy, our friendly staff can help you complete all of your insurance paperwork and can even file it for you in our office the same day. However, we ask that you be aware that insurance estimates are based upon the information available at the time of your appointment. Any amounts quoted could change before your treatment and you will be responsible for any costs of your treatment that your insurance provider does not pay for. Additionally, we also ask that you be ready with applicable your co-payment when you check in for your appointment. We can help you with the basics, but for more detailed information about your coverage or insurance plan, you will need to contact your insurance provider or employer directly.
CareCredit is a credit line intended to help patients and their families pay for medical, dental, and veterinary expenses. The plan works much like a credit card. Patients simply apply as they would for a credit card and once approved, their account can be used like a credit card to pay for their services. The account can be used for multiple family members, different procedures or even emergency pet care. This can be handy for unexpected expenses or when insurance coverage does not pay for services.
To assist patients in finding the best payment options, CareCredit offers a variety of different interest rates and payment plans. Patients do not need to reapply for multiple procedures and there is no penalty for paying off the account balance early. However, we recommend that patients always check to be sure that their provider accepts CareCredit before they schedule or begin any services. For a complete list of providers or more information on how you can sign up for CareCredit, please check out www.carecredit.com.
Patients need only drive down the street or open a newspaper to see a wide variety of what looks to be well-priced dental implant deals. But are these bargains legitimate? The answer to this question can often be discovered with a little bit of research. We are all looking for a great deal and lower prices, but many of these products do not measure up when it comes durability, strength, or quality. Additionally, you may receive steep discounts in the beginning, but then get stuck with surprise costs in end when products need to be replaced or do not look they way they should.
Our Norfolk, VA patients can rest assured that The Foleck Center only uses the highest quality products with a proven and safe history of placement, use, and success. Please be aware that when you receive a quote, the total fee should include multiple parts of the procedure and not just the dental implant. Your quote should be drafted and should include fees for the cost of the implant, the surgery, and all related expenses. Sometimes there will also be costs added for x-rays, anesthetic and other services related to your oral surgery. Be sure to review your quote and ask questions so that you understand what the charges are for.
